Jacksonville, FL -Stage Aurora Theatrical Company presents LOUIS-AND-ELLA! By Trent Armand Kendall, 7:00 PM, July 23 at the Hicks Auditorium/ Jacksonville Public Library Main Branch. Admission is free-of-charge. Trent Armand Kendall, writer, stars as legendary Louis Armstrong and Natasha Yvette Williams stars as Ella Fitzgerald. The musical also features Broadway vet and Jacksonville’s very own Darryl Reuben Hall, founder of Stage Aurora Theatrical Company. Musical direction and accompaniment is by Darius Frowner.


HARLEM OF THE SOUTH: Duke, Ella, and Cab!, a soaring new musical celebrating the yesterday of Jacksonville will play June 16 at The Volstead, downtown Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 19 at the Hicks Auditorium, Jacksonville Public Library Main Branch. Enjoy the sounds of the jazzy Harlem Renaissance as icons Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Cab Calloway entertained in the South making Jacksonville one of the tour's stops. The musical with song and dance will also feature Lift Every Voice and Sing, the national Black anthem penned by Jacksonville native James Weldon Johnson.

ENROLL YOUR CHILD TODAY. The Annual Performing Arts Summer Institute sponsored by the Jacksonville Journey Enhance Summer Camp 2016 /Jacksonville Children's Commission. Once again, your child will learn the basics in the Performing Arts: Dance, Voice, Theatre, and Music.  More info can be found on the Community Outreach Page.

3. You must attach a copy of each child's report card to his/her application in order to secure a seat.
