Roumel Reaux is a veteran stage performer as well as a director, choreographer, writer, and stage manager. His Broadway credits include Five Guys Named Moe, Bob Fosse’s Big Deal, Porgy And Bess, Crucifer Of Blood, And The Wiz. Off Broadway credits include Pets, Struttin’, And Three Mo’ Tenors. Touring credits include Blackbirds Of Broadway, Harry Belafonte In Concert, Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, And Dangerous Games. Regional/stock credits include Little Ham, Stand Up Tragedy, Cabin In The Sky, and Cookin’ At The Cookery. Television/film credits include Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, The Guiding Light, Bob Fosse-Steam Heat, And A Rage In Harlem. Roumel penned an
original musical for Stage Aurora and MOCA Jacksonville entitled "SINNER MAN", One-Act Play with Music Written and Directed by Roumel Reaux. The work was Inspired by a Benny Andrews’ painting entitled "Sinner Man", this One-Act Play musically blends American Negro Spirituals, Gospel, Blues, and Show tunes performed in ‘ A-cappella style’. Roumel Reaux is the co-writer, and composer of the new food guide Pyramid Musical A Nutrition Program targeting elementary schools in the New York area.
